What steps should I take if I want to change careers?
Start at the end and work backwards. Although this may sound a little confusing, we always end up doing what we like and enjoy the most. Be it eating out, entertainment, sports, tech, even soft furnishings, we organically ‘go for’ what suits our personalities best, and this is no exception when it comes to our career.
People spend the majority of their lives at work, so why not do something you’re good at and enjoy? This might sound like idealistic dream speak, however, the world’s greatest chefs are just that, not because they thought the career would provide stability and or advancement, but due to a passion for what they enjoy and believe in.

Am I too old to change careers?
Learning People students range from late teens all the way up to their late 60s. The financial implications of our current world mean that most of us will be working well into our 70s and with life expectancy steadily increasing; our tendency to work beyond a classical retirement age is a very real fact.
Whether you view this as good or bad, which may be down to your current job role, it does mean that we all have the opportunity to change and advance even if we feel the time has passed.
Is it too late for me to change careers?
Professional training is extremely concise by comparison to that of a traditional academic qualification. Gone are the days of a 3 or 4 year part time study schedule and in place are world class IT certifications, that can be achieved in a matter of weeks and professionally mapped pathways of training can be completed in a matter of months.
